The Board of Mis-Directors – also known as our internal dialogue, inner critic, pretender voices, etc. – loves to take us in all sorts of unproductive directions.  And so often, they’re just plain mean!  And yet… they are surprisingly, disturbingly effective at directing the course of our lives.

This ebook has two primary goals:

• to help you better recognize the sound, scope, and strategies of the Board of Mis-Directors in your life – what they’d like you to believe, what it looks like when the Board gets the best of you, how their (il)logic works, how easy it is to buy into the box of limitations they place on your life
• to provide practical strategies to tune them out and more consciously and deliberately choose your life path – how do you shut them down when you recognize them for the liars they are?  how do you root out the more subtle ways they’re getting the best of you?  how do you get out from under their crushing, mind-numbing, suffocating effects?

These strategies come from the study and development work we’ve done, our work with our clients, and the process of living our own lives.  (Here’s a big clue that we’re onto something here:  our own Board of Mis-Directors had a LOT to say about us writing this e-book!  We must be getting hot…)
