Workshops
Trust and Faith | Distractions & Seductions | Intentional Community
Our focus in our workshops is simply this: getting down to the reality of creating the lives we most desire to lead. That's it.
Because we humans are (generally) social beings, that comes in two parts: fulfilling our potential individually, and working together creatively in partnership and community.
Much like our coaching, our workshops are designed to help participants confront unnecessary limitations and fears, appreciate and make the most of our diversity and individuality, do something with their innate genius, heal their inner children and inner adults (and, heck, inner adolescents and grandparents, too), build strategies for accomplishing their goals, and create sustainable motivation and collaboration in their lives.
In other words,
we help folks figure out what they want
and what's keeping them from getting it,
and then how to change that - permanently.
We offer workshops for the general public, as well as customized workshops for groups or communities.
Trust and Faith:
What It Takes to Build a Dream Together
(Also see our PhenomeNews article on Dreaming Together.)
We almost all have a powerful longing to do things, to create things, to build things, with other people. With others, we can often accomplish more than we can alone, and in very satisfying ways. But what do we need to develop the kinds of relationships that will support this admittedly risky undertaking? How can we have faith in others, in the ways that matter most in partnership? What are those ways? Are there skills we can develop? More...
Getting Beyond Distractions and Seductions
(Also see our PhenomeNews article on Distractions and Seductions.)
We all have them. You know what I mean: those projects that we've always wanted to do, or that we've been in the process of doing for years but can't quite seem to finish.
What keeps us from getting to the things that really matter? More...

Intentional Community Workshops
One of our particular areas of interest is intentional community, including the interaction between the individual and the community. Cohousing-related workshops we've done include:
- a day-long workshop on understanding and engaging with diversity, personal differences, and community cohesion
- a series on how to cultivate the trust and faith to work in partnership on shared dreams (in pairs, groups, and communities)
- a training for the a new cohousing Mediation Guild - looking at the specific needs, opportunities and challenges when working with interpersonal conflict in the context of intentional community
